In my 20s I was living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when I wandered down a street full of jewelry supply stores. I was and am still am a collector of hobbies and hoarder of craft supplies, but had never thought about making jewelry since I admittedly hardly wear any myself. I was so excited about all the shapes and colors and the possibilities of what I could create with them. I found myself constantly going back to that street and spending money on jewelry supplies. It was so much fun to make, but since I didn't wear it myself my friends and roommates were getting lots of great gifts. Enough people kept telling me to open and etsy store that I finally took the plunge. Like many makers, I couldn't imagine that many people would want to spend their money on something I had made with my hands, but after a few months of very hard work I was having regular sales, quit my day job, and started devoting all of my time to selling jewelry. That was over a decade ago and it's still my full time job. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love and that you all love what I do as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and other handmade shops on etsy. It means the world to us. xoxo
